EGECAN-G35

EGECAN EPA is a heat-activated adhesive used for gluing vamps made of leather, artificial leather, etc. materials to soles made of leathery, PVC, PU, TR, and EVA, etc..

Usage

The necessary pre-treatment is carried out depending on the type of vamp to be glued. For example, if it is leather, it is rasped off, and if it is artificial leather, it is wiped with the appropriate wiping water. According to the type of base materials, the appropriate activator from the Egecan series is applied and pre-treatments are carried out and it is left based on the waiting times. Egecan epa is applied to the vamp and base materials to be glued at the end of the waiting periods. It is left for about half an hour. At the end of the duration, the gluing process is carried out by heating at 60-80ºC. The glued materials are pressed under 3-4 bars. If desired, a 7% hardener can be added to the adhesive.

Storage

The packages that are not opened can be stored for 12 months at 18ºC. After opening, their lids should be tightly closed and kept at room temperature so that the product does not thicken.
